Circus

Luogo magico, ricco di storia, costellato da luci,colori e suoni racchiusi in un tempo che sembra appartenere ad un’altra dimensione.  

 Il circo, luogo di eccesso e di stravaganza, luogo di follia e di divertimento, di clown, di ragazze tatuate e di ragazzi effeminati, incontro di culture oniriche e visioni inquietanti, è sempre stato un simbolo, oltre che una scelta di vita, di immagine e trasgressione. Alcuni tra i più grandi stilisti si sono spesso ispirati alla cultura circense, creando abiti o accessori che ricordassero quell’atmosfera a metà tra la decadenza e il sogno. Molti non sanno che a Parigi, città natale della moda, le rime sfilate si tenevano appunto all’interno del circo, sotto magici tendoni che davano vit alle prime passerelle, da allora fu un continuo richiamo. La collezione Desigual inspired by Cirque du Soleil ha creato, sessanta capi ispirati alla magia del Cirque du Soleil. Nella primavera del 2010 altri stilisti hanno realizzato capi eccentrici ispirati ai presentatori del circo, con giacche a doppio petto e colori sgargianti.

Il look circense è stato però rimesso in voga da Britney Spears nel 2009 con il The Circus: Starring Britney Spears a cui hanno lavorato i fratelli Dean e Dan Caten, riuscendo a dare una sfumatura più sexy con fruste, accessori in pelle, cappelli di piume e calze per poi continuare con l’uscita del film “Come l’acqua per gli elefanti”. Moda e circo vengono dalla stessa matrice: volontà di stupire. Ugualmente angoscianti nelle forme e nei colori sono i capi creati per il marchio Pepper and Pistol della collezione del 2009. Coloratissimi sono invece gli abiti della collezione dello stilista indiano Manish Arora, che tutti ricorderanno perché Katy Perry ha indossato un suo abito durante un concerto. La moda si tinge dei colori del circo anche in molti accessori. Fra tutti, di un’eleganza e classe esclusiva, ci sono ed uniche sono anche le scarpe realizzate da Louboutin. Non basta sfoggiare un abito d’alta moda per far sì che la gente si giri per strada a guardarti, ma bisogna saperlo indossare, così come in un’esibizione nel circo non è sufficiente avere acconciature strane, trucco scintillante e ciglia finte per saper intrattenere, ma è necessario avere quel tocco in più di eccentricità che possa saper dominare la performance. Caratteristica che troviamo oggi di rado, e che pochi custodiscono, è il caso di Laura Bernocchi, Laura Bernocchi, classe 1983, artista, e performer che afferma: “Il mio lavoro aereo combina la disciplina circense

con il teatro di strada, la danza e il teatro di figura.

Per questo ogni luogo è un palcoscenico:

tendoni del circo,  alberi, piazze, balconi, scorci nascosti.

Un intero spettacolo o una semplice evoluzione

può essere racchiusa in un’atmosfera teatrale.
