La maison Louis Vuitton del gruppo LVMH il 9 marzo inaugurerà la mostra dedicata al suo stilista più eccellente, l’ormai celeberrimo Marc Jacobs. La mostra, curata dall’autrice di moda Pamela Golbin avrà due protagonisti, la maison di lusso fondata 158 anni fa contribuendo sostanzialmente al mondo della moda e, il designer la cui carriera dura ormai da 15 anni. Las Arts Décoratifs sarà il contenitore per questo allestimento temporaneo che durerà fino al 16 settembre 2012.
Un modo per ringraziare e dare la giusta importanza ad un uomo, un creativo, uno stilista che con il suo estro ha elevato ulteriormente il brand.
Proprio Louis Vuitton sarà anche l’artefice della collaborazione tra il suo staff e la più grande artista giapponese vivente, Yayoi Kusama. L’artista dall’età di 10 anni realizza opere a pois e il suo stile colorato ed estroverse ha sempre sedotto i creativi della moda e dello spettacolo. Yayoi Kusama firmerà una linea di borse, accessori, scarpe, orologi, gioielleria e ready-to-wear per il prossimo luglio, collaborando fianco a fianco con Marc Jacobs. La collezione sarà distribuita nei 461 negozi del gruppo francese.
